  • Violette Hill Hay Farm 5505 North Orange Blossom Trail Mount Dora, FL, 32757 United States (map)

At Violette Hill, we believe that learning about farming should be an immersive and hands-on experience. Our Farm School is designed to connect learners of all ages with the world of agriculture through engaging, interactive classes and activities.

Our farm school offers a variety of educational opportunities, tailored to fit the needs and interests of different age groups, from toddlers to teens. We focus on practical, real-world experiences, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of farm life, animal care, and sustainable practices.

What We Offer:

  • Hands-On Animal Encounters: Get up close and personal with our friendly farm animals. Our interactive sessions let students learn about animal behavior, feeding, and care.

  • Themed Classes: From hay baling and rabbit care to cow and pig handling, our classes cover a wide range of agricultural topics. Each session is crafted to provide valuable insights and practical skills.

  • Seasonal Activities: Throughout the year, we offer seasonal activities such as pumpkin painting in the fall and seed starting in the spring. These activities are designed to complement our educational programs and enhance the learning experience.

  • Homeschooling Fridays: Specially designed for homeschool families, these sessions feature a blend of animal interaction, themed classes, and fun activities. Each Friday, students will engage in different topics, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.

Our mission is to foster a love for farming and agriculture in the next generation. By providing a supportive and educational environment, we aim to inspire curiosity and appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes into running a farm.

Join us at Violette Hill Farm School and be part of a vibrant learning community where agriculture comes to life!
